Texas County Map Data Disclaimer
The Good News
Years of feedback from client's experiences with Texas County Maps based upon Texas Railroad Commission digital data files has been quite positive.
I and my clients have been quite pleased to find that a high percentage of the information has been
accurate, usable "out of the box", so to speak, without any need for correlation or field measurements of any kind.
The "Fine Print"
OK - now for the "fine print."
Users of Texas County Maps need to understand that mapping elements should not be relied upon as gospel.

The Verdict
The clear message is this: When you have to count on the information, then perform whatever field
survey steps you need to in order to make sure your final product is going to meet the tolerances that your project requires.
